I like the video way more than the song as usual.The song is just another song. it makes me want to go party in Japan sort of.It's funny how people are so quick and willing to jump on S&M bandwagon when there is a celebrity dressed up or on television. But I don't think people really understands how real this culture really is. i am not an expert. no sorry, but i do know a thing or two about slapping a lucky few and i have been to a Club Hell party or two. I love the freedom of the lifestyle and how relaxed people can really be in these environments. I wonder if Rihanna brought in a consultant or did her own research.

This is going to be what I refer to as a hybrid post. It is a hybrid because I am going to include music that will coincide with my photoshoot and you also have to watch the Kush video because it is very sick.So you are going to watch the kush video, put it on replay and then look at the photos while the music is playing. ummm genius!I did this shoot in Northern California which makes this even more appropriate. She's 18 now and that is what this age is for, experimenting.

I think Miley looks cool smoking salvia, whch is not an easy thing to do when you look at other videos of folks doing the drug on youtube.

I am not nearly brave enough to smoke that stuff after seeing some of the trips other people have, but she totally was and now i consider her a bit of a bad ass.

Real Life lately has been not so bad. Lavish in a way i suppose. I mean life that has nothing to do with work or career. So real party life i guess it would be. I mean I do like to party. I love it and if people weren't such haters I feel like i could do it so much more often. Anyways I was wandering around the internet as I have the tendency to do and I am not sure exactly how I came across LINDSAY MARiE , but she's hot. She seems fun like a Barbie Doll friend.

Then I got to thinking if I had a group of four friends who all looked like barbie dolls and sang or danced i would just keep them locked up in my multi- level house and make them make me pop records and videos all day. whahahahahahaaha but as that is not real life I will settle for daydreaming about having friends who look like a girl group and wandering the internet to find talent I have yet to discover and I threw in the Mariah Carey Video because of the theme and I heart her.

i went to Skeetox 2010 with my Lovely Lyly because we thought it would be fun. Apparently our decision to go had caused a slight stir in a few persons existence.

We had a blast it was like a super cool rock concert that pop artists kept hopping on stage and fucking up lol. except for lil jon and we loved the band. Then I discovered I knew the band and am passionately in love with the band's bass player( i just wanna hump him into another universe lol ). I do fall in love often and when it counts.I think Lyly fell in love too.Then we met the CandyMan and apparently he not only likes to knockboots but he's an excellent writer as well.Ran into Warren G and a few other West Coast hip hop classics as well.All the people who did not accompany Lyly an I should feel kinda sad cause it was awesome.

I Love Lauryn Hill. I Love her in a very obsessive way.I am going to walk to Mountain View to see her if I have to. She's like bohemian hip hop royalty. It's beautiful to see her back on tour. One Of the Hardest Things About living is learning how to learn. I can't help but love learning. It makes me tingle so much it makes me do things like play the lottery and spend that one dollar cause i know I am going to make a million off of it at some point, or entering my resume into a contest that would change my whole life even being in the center of a life changing experience in itself that is real life. I used to love the words fantasy and extascy and now I prefer the word enchanted it's more fun. embarking on bigger journeys and taking big risks is what life is really all about and i can't understand for the life of me why someone wouldn't want to hop into the next step on their apparent journey. why pause and wonder if we are capable well i just think we like the drama. I say leave the drama at home and the movie theatres in the dvd case. Take Chances write your own movie. Live Life to the Fullest and go to parties!!!

Sometimes it's a bit hard to get people to understand you. It's not always as easy as asking and recieving. Well at least that's the way sometimes it may seem. I find myself in the most irritated mood when people aren't understanding me. when I am complaining it's the worst...the solution

... Stop complaining it takes up far too much energy too complain you are supposed to be focusing that energy not on complaining or covering up the problem with substitutions but realizing you have it all. this is my first superhero lesson I have learned as a lady in training to spot things that are not right. not to complain about them, that's too lazy and yes ladies in waiting are quite lazy. i suppose that's what makes real women Bionic. Be Bionic. Be the Solution. Take Positive initiative towards messages of love and you will find not only will you not have anything to complain about, you will find it very easy to help someone else who loves to complain as you have probably been complaining about the same things.

i am a fashion stylist and visionary not a photographer. I have been very busy. very very busy… I have been creating tote bags that make my friends squeal. we have been steaming and altering clothing to post in the vintage store… and then I went to the Agapi Girl pre Oscar Gifting Suite on March 4. The day turned out to be beautifully illuminated by the California sunshine. The wind was not in as much of a good mood. Hence it was hard to keep picture perfect hair outside. But when you walked into the transformed Urban Kabob Restaurant space on La Brea you were hit by laughter and the impulse to just relax. Guests filed in consistently to be greeted by white wine and vegetarian appetizers. The eco friendly upscale theme was such a great idea I was motivated more than ever to continue my journey in making my own future events as eco friendly and beneficial to others as possible just as this one was. The gift bags and it’s contents were adorable and and included soap, makeup, healing crystals and stones, eco-friendly shopping bags, a few coupons and stickers the coconut drink, and a hollywood weekly magazine. The guests were diverse and very well dressed, I always love an event with well dressed patrons. Mingling at this event was just what I needed to be inspired by bohemian California chic style again. I was dressed down, but still fabulous I will definitely admit in a black jumpsuit and cream lace tank top as I was helping run the event and this is my default volunteer work outfit because you never want to out dress the host of a party you are working for it’s like showing up the bride, a battle can ensue. None did. The host however looked adorably professional with a beautiful red flower in her hair. I loved the appetizers that were served they were all vegetarian and the hummus was absolutely delicious. With all of my new goodies I was a little disappointed to not see any nominees, but meeting the guests that did arrive was more than my pleasure.

As we all know i love Barbie just as millions of other women who used to be little girls in this world. Barbie is a representation of the plenty of accomplishments that women have and will achieve. Including our right to be sexy and sensual if we would like without being treated as a doll as we are greater than a billion dollar business we women are. I have always been a fan of LeSportsac since i was little because they have always had genius compartments on their bags. It has been a dream of mine to collaborate with them. Now I am just a little more determined to get there. Because i am so tired of this sexy doll beating me to all the cool stuff to do... by day im an extra and a stand in. yes i thrive in the background! i like it a lot. i have had many jobs on tv and movie sets. my favorite was working krafty services because i got to say i was crafty all day. yes i am that cheezy. i have done plenty of shows working background. i have also done a few feature rolls. i think the film industry is a fun day job. way more fun than working at ralphs.i like meeting people who think they are in the prime of their careers as a background extra. i also find it interesting to meet people who watch all of the shows they work on. i still have yet to do this. i also like meeting funny characters that are good at voice impersonations. i don't like having to dress down for work. i wish i could be dressed up and glamorous all day. i like having a regular gig on a couple shows. although visiting multiple sets keeps you from getting too bored.i work more than actresses who are always auditioning. my hustle is fun.

Inspiration is something i had to go seek. i was bored and uninspired therefore completely unaware of how much fun i was having. i have a lot of fun. I just had to learn how to write about it in a way that sounded fun and appropriate. im on a journey to create color images in the imaginations of many. it's far more entertaining in my book than being a television super actor. I can just say Aspiring actors are an interesting bunch of folks. I mean Hollywood is nuts all by itself and then you aadd drugs and plastic surgery. It makes for quite the freak show. People should probably be a little less judgemental of weirdos i mean you noticed them right? isnt that what all these "actors" and entertainers are running around and doing???? trying to get noticed.they say pay attention to me im important! in reality most people aren't that direly important. it's important to be important and relevant to yourself before you start asking others for it. o and people need to be honest it causes for a lot less back up.

i am inspired... therefore i can proceed with creating.

... i mean that and smoookin and piiiiiimpin haha chateau marmont it was an honor to not be allowed to lean on your windows- kelis yes kelis was there and yes she had silver hair, meeting her explained a lot the silver hair was not one of them... i guess gorgeous women can do what the fuck they want... and major is always the bestest date ever cause i mean only fly can hang with fly and royalty is what it is no matter where it is. i mean really now... and taz is a super star so you know i mean what do u say to a super star when ur stoned (it would have been rude to ask for a preview of the album and some rings but i thought about it.)i mean i just realized how much i enjoy the slect company i keep. im grateful for that feeling. but i understand it didnt come from sitting on my ass...

My Countdown was spent in a gas station smoking a blunt to the countdown of some random drunk folks counting down to the California time zone new years celebration. Seems Depressing. I didn’t miss a thing as I would have preferred to spend those hours making out with one of the hotties I was hanging out with in a drunken rage. Yet, that is not what happened at all. I actually haven’t had a tongue in my mouth other than my own since 2009 and I am thinking of keeping it that way except for the simple fact I seem to have nympho tendencies the older I get. I was told it was the Latina in me. I didn’t have any alcohol in my system but I will admit I was very stoned and I was not in the mood to be out running around trying to catch a party. which I was. None of this phased me as I am going for a Zen approach in the new year. I hope it’s as entertaining as all the drama seems to be. It is not so far but I know from experience that happiness and love are far more valuable and a better way to past time than drama, so I‘ll just stay patient for those moments because I know they are not far off… The night ended with me deciding to have a zero tolerance policy on bullshit in 2010 and watching Revolver ( I like this movie : P) Not that I am going to ignore the bullshit, I have just decided to make my orbit an exclusive club most will want to be a part of (and so far all do) and have a bullshit barrier. That way I can be aware of It and not miss out on a thing. Because although you don’t want shit in your orbit sometimes bullshitters turn out to be the ones to deliver life’s most valuable lessons. Lessons of deep significance like patience and the art of not being jealous of anyone , because my friends it’s a waste of time being jealous of people who are full of shit. So cleanse yourselves for the New Year loves and Be Free.

I have so many stories i feel like telling and wonder if anyone will actually read them. I mean oddly enough this is the blog i do the most advertising for and get the least hits on. Ironic. It's a good thing I don't live my life in the same greed cloud as most people.So many people the first thought they have is to be greedy and try to get something from someone else. Sad. My first thought is generally fashion related or I don't even see the person in front of me because I am caught up in my own rendition of a thought... those can get complicated.

Random Tuesday in Wonderland

ITS BETTER TO WATCH THIS VIDEO WITH NO SOUND!!! BUT YES WE WERE THERE AND TRAVIS BARKER WOULD GET IT( slang for fornicating with)!

... Random Tuesday is what we dubbed this past Tuesday. Why you ask? Well I will tell you. It all started with a rather fun business meeting it was random but the results were very promising. I then proceeded to go into a *haze* of imaginative thought and had to drag myself off of the couch to go to the Malice in Wonderland Album Release Party (because when Snoop invites you to a party you go).The getting up and putting on makeup and sexy shoes was turning out to be quite the problem and i felt so unimpressed with the end result i decided I didnt even want to take any pictures that night.sluggish was my existence. i believe it was definitely due to the weather, the fact it gets dark so early, and the 4 blunts before hand.

The homegirl A came to swoop me for this adventure we were getting ready to partake on. it was cold very cold. First on wrong instructions we drove to Universal City Walk, the party was not there and the lesson in that action was to not listen to people who are pretending to know what they are talking about. From the City Walk we proceeded to head to VanGuard Hollywood. We get there we see my besties who are actually pretty thugged out for the word besties.That moment began all the love. we cut in line which is breaking a rule from way back in elementary school, being the rebel I am I dont give a phuck! It was still cold outside we decided against the red carpet hubbub and proceeded to the entrance which was a mess of a mess where everyone seemed confused as with every check in table at a hip hop event.Then the first random act of the night! A light skinned guy with a white utah jazz cap on came up behind me with an embrace and a kiss on the neck. As suprised as I was i liked it... still unsure of who the cutie pie was but he did look familiar maybe we had we met before??? (UPDATE: no we had not met and i found out this mystery guy was joe budden, ironic because we were just in the same studio a few days before the cosmos like to play funny jokes)

We moved to the inside and watched the place fill up like a bucket under a running faucet. Before we knew it the place was packed and it felt like being in the land of Ganja... so West Coast! The concert started and we watched as Snoop brought up all his cool friends including Pharell, Travis Barker, Nate Dogg, The Game, warren G,i mean there were so many motha fuckas on stage it over flowed to behind the stage where a drunk guy tried to start a fight that was snuffed out within a literal minute. It was an amazing show.There were celebrities, hoes brought in from Vegas, groupies, wannabes, workerbees and of course a bucket load of the coolest people because great people keep great company. I saw a bunch of my favorite buddies and was reconnected with others I had not seen in a while ...that wasn't the end. we were high off of "life" as we left the party when i saw the most beautiful girl i know standing outside the concert handing out fliers *side eye* as i was standing there talking to her a very nice very random man comes up and decides i need a jacket, because yes you guessed it is cold outside. We follow him down the street and to his car where he has a bag of brand new jackets and very graciously gave me one. His reasons were I am awesome and remind him of his ex girlfriend and he had them as Christmas gifts anyway. So now by this point I am floating on my way to the car just way to excited about anything and everything. I still haven't come off of the high. I am now going to go get dressed for yet another West Coast celebratory function. Support the West go cop Malice In Wonderland!

I woke up this morning and felt the tingle in my fiberglass nails to write a blog post. I have been completely swamped with planning parties and launching magazines and technologies.being so busy has made me completely #twitterobsessed! i love talking to my friends and people who i wish were my friends lol i crack myself up...it's completely insane that 2010 is upon our asses staring at the nape of our necks. i am very curious what this new year is going to bring. it feels genuinely good and that's always a great feeling...i am so busy its very hard to focus on holidays and that very ironic saying how i am the xmas candy cane superhero and all,perhaps a photoshoot is in order although i should create a shoot just for the izbya.com christmas card. is it possible in the middle of all the hub bub will i achieve the izbya.com christmas card? DUN DUN DUN...stay tuned for the end to this nail biting mystery.

...in the meantime i have been trying to get used to using my new acer netbook. it's so tiny and cute!perfect for idle twittering among a whole bunch of other things.no worries my peeps there is definitely a review seen in the near future!Mind you I have been searching for a name for her since I got her the day after Thanksgiving as my Sony Vaio (who was stolen and the most beautiful pearl white) was directly name Bionic Puzzi...and now the official naming ceremony of my new Acer: Panocha Bionica! lol which is Bionic Puzzi ; ) in espanol of course sillies it totally fits as this cute little netbook is purple so thanks @CHANEY14 for the name!

Life is always a fucking surreal whirlwind for me. I have pretty damn good luck and funny timing even though i can be a bit clumsy at times. I am always doing busy work and funny how sometimes my busy work lands me in music videos where i reconnect with some old party friends who just so happen to be the shit and on top in their specialties and still constantly rising. Knowing my real friends and basking in our own successes is the best remedy for hatorade. well i love snooooooop dooooogggg and i was one of those really cool filler people for the i wanna rock video which was produced by one of the coolest homies i know @ScoopDeville... but let me tell you about this crazy production.

Yes the dancers were really dope. They did their thing although on one of the takes one of the little youngin dancin boys fell on his head doing one of those crazy flips the kids like to do in their dances now days...but all was okay and the smallest female dancer had a rockin body. i mean so awesome it made me go home and do a couple hours of working out.

No I didn't even eat dinner it just wasn't worth it to me. i was rather irritated by then. I am always really irritated at the way people get treated on music videos it doesn't make sense to me. I thought I was going to have to shank someone.They took my purse to "store" it and I am extremely ocd about my stuff being stolen so i threw a huge diva hissy fit about it and ended up smoking a blunt instead of beating down some PA with a power complex... and i always think its funny how many wannabe whatevers wander the music video circuit. How can you tell a wannabe from someone who is just cool period. The wannabes are the ones trying lol. It's true tho. *blank stare*

I have barely had time to update my blog with all of the work I have been doing to plan the ultimate magazine launch plan and helping as many friends as I can in the season of giving. I am going to be introducing a lot of other things to all of my blogs within the next month. I am so excited about life right now as stressful and realistic as it may be. Of course we all rather live in a fantastical wonderland.More to come about all of my adventures.

Im in a senseless situation. I know i shouldnt do it but i do... i just know i wont get screwed again... and i wont and i havent been its nice to have good people in your circle, but sometime our friends just need a little kick in the ass to get their shit together because i have bills to pay too man... these clips always ease the tension for me when folks owe me money... so today is the day right????

i never really understand why things happen... i just came to the conclusion ill never understand why and i just need
to sit and watch them unfold appropriately. But why cant other people catch on to this simple concept? is it so that when
we finally do understand this we have to constantly use it as a shield against crazy folks with no goals who are just frustrated for
the sake of being a pain in the ass to people who are actually doing something with themselves. its like a special code you can type in on
the wii to make it a little easier to achive other levels. SMH thats all i can really do at this point. just smh. and how hard is it to be
honorable and keep your word... i hate being taken advangtage of or when someone is dishonest and especially when someone tells me to come along
for the ride and ditches me. so i just really want to figure out a way to pre warn people about fucking with me maybe a tshirt or something.
because once u get on my bad side there is no going back. that bridge will not only be burnt but reconstructed just so the moment
you step into the middle of it it will disappear and you will be dropped thousands of feet to your death.i really am not of fan of those types of
thoughts so i figured id put them here on my blog and so when i meet people i will just hand them my business card and it will say dont fuck me! across the
top... lol i can only imagine the faces i would get... because i already have quite a mental collection of the faces i get when i hand people my sticker...good times.
well im done venting it was just a quick though with too many characters to post on twitter. and now im back to zen.one thing i will say about all this life craziness is it will definitely make good inspiration for when i decide to write a psycho thriller and you can upcode it... and it doesnt matter the situation or relationship you can always learn something from it dont listen to arrogant ignorance.KNowledge is Power and even the man who knows everything is always learning something new. Keep your minds open.

I have gotten a lot of ridiculous questions over the couple of years I have adopted the ego Bionic Puzzi(pronounced Pu-zee)like "Are you a porn star?" and "well can i try that out?", mostly from the mislead and the perverted...but being rather witty i always have an appropriate comeback for those moments. So what the hell is a Bionic Puzzi? It started out as an idea for a network for really beautiful women in the los angeles party and promtions scene mostly djs, club promoters, model and industry types and the such and sort of grew from there. after about two years of keeping up with the name and the brand of Bionic Puzzi and really trying to find myself and more parties and concerts to photograph and write about for the blog i was finally forced by my current marketing consultant to sit down and write about what this brand really stands for and really means and why people should want to be a part of it's growth. Deep right? he read my result and sent me an email saying: there you go. Your Mission Statement.

This all started out as a business venture so that I could become a dj and bring together the high profile music types i worked with and all the beautiful and driven party girls i knew and it has been a great fun success and good ass time since the beginning. So now that we have the parties I figured we needed purpose and I wanted to bring together my writing experience with my party experience to begin to define myself and that made me look to different women and people i looked up to and admire and truly dislike and dont agree with for business and life tips to live by.the image of the bionic puzzi character since the beginning has always been that of a woman who we all want to be. a real life superhero: someone with a strong sense of self and always talked about and the life of the party wherever she goes, not simply because of her looks but also because of the fact she has so much to offer...bionic puzzi possess a comfort in her body and sensuality that drives those who don't have the same super power mad with envy and she does what she wants with it whether it be to conserve their physical appearances or expose themselves to the masses and she does this in the most infatuating way...she also possesses the drive and the character to follow her dreams and make the best positive change in the world she can.

Funny story one of my best friends @ Anthony Coleman 2nd has been obsessed with Georgia Anne Muldrow for quite awhile now. I mean obsessed like he always talks about how much he loves her and her hair and all the little technical musical talent she has that is constantly getting her fans like my dearest all worked up in a frenzy...anyways i was forced to experience the force that is Georgia and at first listen i was a little thrown off as i am with most things forced upon me, but then i had time to fall in love...i was smitten with her sound and now running around as a new unofficial recruit of the i heart Georgia movement...months into my love for this new musician i am addicted to, it dawned on me i had no idea what this amazing artist looked like. i had been so enthralled with the sound i hadn't even had an appetite to know the physical form of this being. so like any other wondering mind i set to google and typed in her name...so much suspense built up in half a minute as to what this voice looked like...

I laughed very loudly and proceeded to contact my best friend and Georgia with the funny coincidence she used to babysit me and our families have actually known each other since before i even had boobs crazy what time does and amazing to be able to witness an amazing evolution like Georgia's and now today i am anticipating her new album set to be released Nov 10!! For now I am in love with the video for her first single Run Away and hope you are too. i have been listening to so much Georgia for the summer I had changed my hairstyle to an afro and tried to dye it red, there was no luck my hair is far to dark and too thick so i had to make a decision do i want afro ir red hair. being the stylista i am the red hair won. check out the sounds of georgia anne muldrow and her stats to she's got quite the resume.

VH1 Divas 2009 my faves

i am sitting and watching the vh1 divas show and it was such a cheezy production but so far all of the women have done phenomenal as far as proving their diva worth through talent, the line up is great, toni braxton is so beautiful and i fuckin love adele!!! it's interesting how really genuine and diverse this lineup they have is. i mean besides the fact they r all super stars no break out inndie stars on that show... but i still would love to see the old diva lineups with like whitney houston and mariah carey and i guess alicia keyes and adele can come back, id throw in beyonce and her all girl band to maybe open the show and erykah badu or jaenelle monet for diva diversity and i like jennifer hudson that sounds like a good show o and id have a diva contest one time only for some random talent... maybe one day and ill get to dress them all that would be fun who knows for now im gonna go click adele on my ipod... i liked the leona and cindi performance very beautiful ... and i am a stevie wonder geek worshipper i think he and jennifer created a great energy together but his piano gave me butterflies haha.

These were my favorite performances of the show...the performing singers were very inspirational.i wonder what other people though...

... i am also going to start swinging my afro. I was browsing the internet and came across this letter from a now Former BET Exec Andreas Hale. I have personally had my own incidences with the BET corporation and reading this letter brought back the time I got fired too. I have been against the whole BET system for a long time now. I don't like encouraging the stereotypes and the continuous advertising of ignorance. When I started volunteering for BET I had dreams of working my way up in the company and changing the lives of Black people evrywhere, I learned the first day on the job that was not a goal I wanted to continue to pursue. I worked the BET Awards two years in a row with no problems and great referrals and recommendations from everyone I worked with(as that was the reason I continued to come back was the connections). As of today (September 8, 2009) I am no longer the Executive Editor of Music at BET.com.

Upon entering the position at BET I said that I needed one year to see what really went on inside the belly of the beast. I needed 365 days to sleep with the enemy and infiltrate the system. One year to see if they REALLY wanted change at BET.

As someone who has been critical of BET for many years, it surprised many that I would leave my post at HipHopDX last year to take a position at BET. But it was an opportunity I absolutely had to take. I could no longer be critical of this company without accepting the opportunity to change it when given. Although I was hired to bring about change, I was systematically shut down. I wasn’t hired to make noise, I was hired to be silenced.

The truth of the matter is that everything that you thought was wrong with BET is true.

Over the past year I’ve seen a lot to reinforce my position that BET is too far gone in the negative to turn into a positive. We have all always thought the worst, but to actually see it in action is another thing in its entirety. The unprofessionalism, the tom foolery, the favors, the misappropriation of resources, the bad ideas that reinforce negative stereotypes, the emasculation of men, the meetings that break down in full fledged cursing battles, the unpaid overtime, the tears from employees scared for their underpaid and overworked positions and ultimately the unwillingness to change are all harsh realities that I’ve witnessed firsthand.

That is not to say that there aren’t some good people who have sat in the offices of BET. Unfortunately, the good people are not in positions of power to instill any change. Instead, they work their fingers to the bone just to keep their jobs in this harsh economic climate. The other good people ran out of the door as soon as an another employment opportunity presented itself. To say BET was a revolving door would be an understatement.

I came in with a plan to provide balance and to deliver good music to the masses and help make BET relevant again – at least in the dot com world. Those attempts were shut down by out of touch executives who run a dot com but could barely turn on a computer. By those who judge their metrics by page views over absolute unique visitors (that‘s ad sales talk). By those who simply don’t understand the internet.

They brought me in because of my track record but never once took a look at my body of work. If they did, they would have known that I was the pen behind editorials such as “BET’s Coon Picnic” or were aware of the many times I have been critical of their award shows and programming. All they knew is that I played a major role in making a once unknown website into a online media outlet that surpassed theirs and they wanted a piece of the action. Too bad they never researched who I really was.

During my tenure I worked long hours and sometimes succeeded at bringing in decent content to try to reflect the change I wanted to achieve. But it wasn’t without opposition. While some interviews and content initiatives were able to make it through, many others were either shut down or met with ridicule. I offered ideas to incorporate the blog world and to spotlight new talent before MTV did. Those ideas were met with comments such as “This isn’t HipHopDX” or “You don’t know what you are talking about.”

BET is not about the quality of your work. Rather, BET is about the relationships you have with powerful people within the company. BET is not about challenging. Instead, BET is about accepting and saying “yes.” If you have known or followed me over the years, you would know that these are things that simply are not in my character and ultimately resulted in my removal.

For the artists and labels that I have worked with for years, I tried. I did whatever I could to achieve that balance many of us wanted to see happen. To the writers who wanted to writer for BET, I made an attempt but was never given a budget to work with.

Upon my arrival, I was told I would be given a staff. Not true. I had a staff of one to carry out daily operations on a website. I fought tooth and nail to accomplish the minimum (an embeddable player and a site people could navigate) and was constantly brushed off. It was a position that was set up for failure. But I endured as long as I could.

Alas, I have been removed from my position after infiltrating the system and the timing was perfect. I wasn’t let go because the site’s numbers were down. Not because I didn’t work hard. Simply because of a personality clash with an individual whose proverbial ass I didn’t kiss enough. Again, not about the work you do but about the relationships you keep and the sides you take.

I’d like to thank BET for covering the cost of my relocation to bring me to the great city of New York/New Jersey. I’d also like to thank them for putting me in close quarters with people who think like me and will hopefully work with in the near future. I’d also like to thank them for providing me enough controversial content that I observed firsthand and will make for many tales to be told.

I said it and I meant in: One year to either make changes or move on. I left HipHopDX on September 16th 2008. Today is September 8, 2009. Eight days short of a year. Most thought I wouldn’t even last that long. But in that year I’ve had my greatest fears about Black Entertainment Television affirmed.

There is so much wrong with BET that I’d rather not break it down in a single email.

It is pretty good fodder for a book don’t you think?

...i found out later the story was apparently that the woman who I was working under that day was jealous of my shine and just wanted to flex her power. I decided not to fight it because who really wants to work for BET anyways. As Mr Hale was offered his position I was also offered the intern position so I took it, I hadn't been chasing it and I had already had a great job as it was. It was such a ridiculous experience every time I worked for these folks. The shows are always so unorganized and it seemed like every year i went back it always seemed a little worse, but i kept going back because for people who have never been affiliated with the company from the inside think it's great on the resume and it is! It's sad that BET is the standard for most black mainstream entertainment and the bar they set is so low. Which has caused blacks to not reach as high as they can in their business endeavors.

Anyways so i show up in my outfit and first I am assigned to help break down and setup tables and such... that lasted 5 minutes and i was moved to assist a makeup artist, i reported to my station and began a fun friendship with the makeup artist and everyone she had to touch including tichina arnold who apparently knew some people i knew and loved the fact i wanted to be a stylist, i worked with the MUA and Tichina for about 20 minutes and at the time i was dragged away from my new found crew they were pulling me into pictures and we were having a ball...the woman who fired me pulled me into the hallway and told me to wait there while she finds me a different job she was very rude i just figured she was a little stressed in her position. She walked away to go talk to someone else and while she was talking another woman who was in charge of PR walked by and remembered me from previous years and told my head she was taking me to use me because she was understaffed with experienced people... i was put in charge of keeping TI and 50 cent separate... i stood in a hallway for about 5 minutes before the PR woman came back to me and said im upgrading u to 50 Cent's escort and there's an issue he wont come out of his room- she was panicked. I just laughed and said okay where do I go? (what she didnt know is that i was currently working for an aftermath producer so this was gonna be fun).I reported to mr Jackson's room and knocked on the door informed his assistant i was his escort and 50 was said to be out in a couple of minutes and he was. The moment he stepped out he said to me something very rude and and i replied in the same way- its what we did at the time. 10 seconds didn't go by with me smiling before the woman who fired me popped up and pulled me to the side. she asked me to stand once again to the side and informed me someone else will replace me helping 50 Cent and they did. 50 proceeded to go back into his room for another half hour : ) the woman appeared once again after me standing for 20 minutes and informed me I was being let go. I asked why... she told me " You will be notified about it later, but you are dressed inappropriately". i asked her why she didn't say anything when I first arrived, and told her iI had a change of clothes in my car which I always did, and she said it wasn't a problem then and changing would not be nessecary, just go home. I was pissed... at that moment i knew it was personal and i dont even know that bitch that way... well needless to say i was insulted and after sitting around for a bit to see if there was someone professional i could talk to about the incident here comes 50 Cent, walking out of his interview he yells to me

" What's Wrong?" I am frowning and I say to him

" I just got fired". He laughed and said to me

" Smile, You are cuter when you smile." and just as i started to laugh as i know this is a backwards compliment ,i look over to see the woman who fired me scowling at me like i stole something from her. SO 50 passed to go into the other press room and TI walks out and proceeds to flirt with me and I just smiled as I watched the one who fired me walk off in a perturbed state at the fact she couldn't bring me down. the best revenge is success : ) BET really needs to get thier shit together for sure.

My Life Even Better

Today has been a day of reflection for me and although I am only so old at the moment I have a ton of memories to reflect on. I have always been the type of person to reflect in the privacy of my own skull. Where what I have to say or feel can be judged by no one except for me and the Creator. Today I scoot out on a limb and decide to share some of my past experiences on my blog. Now my friends this is no tell all but a peek behind the scenes of some of the ups and downs I have gone through in an industry that can make or break a person's soul. It's always been funny for me since Hollywood to me is just like one big ridiculous world created not for entertainment to the masses but for the folks who work behind the scenes and grow up in this crazy cloud of a twisted reality...

A bit about myself i am currently in my very early twenties. I grew up between los angeles and Sacramento,ca... the earliest part of my childhood was spent in dancing, singing, and acting lessons alongside some of the personalities the media cyber stalks today... i have been on and in tv/film and hanging with greats in music, money, and art since i could speak my first words...my aunt is a successful assistant director and my mom is a healer, these are the strong women who orchestrated my up bringing fortunately for me... i am not star struck because stars are in the sky and to this day i have never met one and when I do i will then be stunned... i am not easily impressed as i have been exposed to greatness and its so simple to achieve that once you are washed over with realization of what that means, exactly you definitely wont be as impressed with bullshit either... there are a number of people and concepts that have come along and take my breath away, but not often... i am an advocate for legalizing marijuana, AIDS and HIV awareness,legalizing Gay Marriage, curing with Natural Medicine, and saving Animals [ as my mom runs an animal rescue].

When i was little i used to go out of town to visit friends or family and people would say things to me like " So if you are from California then you know tons of celebrities, right?" I would always answer with a complicated explanation of how California is a big beautiful place and Hollywood is in Los Angeles and just because I lived there they shouldn't assume I knew famous people it's not even the best part . That did nothing of course because at the time and now I know tons of famous people which apparently is all that's important in my character after people find this out and that is just not right. For a long time I have been ashamed of who I know and what I have done and have had a hard time sharing because the real world and the hollyweird world are like oil and water. I learned this in 2nd grade at my really expensive la private school when I would share my what I did this weekend story with the class and have a story about being on different television sets and having dinner with the likes of Gladys Knight and Rickie Byars.Either my school mates would make fun of me and call me a liar even when i had a pictures and they knew it was true, which was no good because this is all i knew at the time, i was very sensitive i was like 8.I couldn't understand why people would stop being my friend and judge me and tease me and say I was a "Disney kid" which was a bad thing cause all the kids were always jealous of the kids on tv and i didn't want to be in any way associated with them but I was [ even though i was never on disney or famous]. It was then i started to despise Hollywood and it's way of life. Unfortunately even now I go through the same thing. I know now all the flakiness and ass kissing is provided to my existence by jealousy and envy.

So no more being scared of being judged ... I have a great brain and great spirit, I am not a liar and never have a reason to talk shit about someone behind their backs. I know the issues with people wearing furs is a huge controversy fought in fashion kickbacks all across the world. I am an animal rights activists in my own right as my mom has an animal rescue blah blahblah... but Naomi Campbell is one of the hardest core women in history and not one person can deny this. My Summer tripped in Lake Tahoe

For some reason I have been thinking a lot about elementary school. All of the fun games and dumb lessons taught . I completely understand the path they were trying to lead us down. Go to school... and then go to more school... so you can get a job to pay off your school loans. But, recently I was thinking of the end of the summer when you had to write about your summer or tell a story or draw a picture or something. i always loved those assignments in honor of middle school I give you my summer trip to Lake Tahoe...

Summary: I went to Lake Tahoe to a casino. I was with the band Bayonics haha... only a small upgrade from one time at band camp... I won a total of 10 dollars i gambled a total of 16 plus the 10 i won. on the other hand my comrade won like 50 and gambled it all away, not so bad as I recall my previous casino experience in Northern California where I proceeded to empty my bank account and go home with no winnings... i drank a bit... toke a hit or two ... danced a bit...laughed a lot... and i wish i knew what the other pictures taken by other drunk people turned out like...

Today I had a lot of discussions about careers. How much is there to say about careers you ask? Well even if you didn't, the answer: tons of stuff comes on our little personal interwebs in our heads.Anyway first discussion about careers today was about how you sometimes have to venture off of the best known and easiest path of your ultimate goal and yes it does change your life, what do people like the drama of not having common sense? is it really selfish for someone to have a plan and stick to it no matter how they have to do it? do we all actually have the option of having a balance in life, even when others are involved? why do people always expect for someone to drop their lives for a decision they made. I just don't think it is very friendly...

...then there was the discussion about how life is filled with multiple careers as long as you leave a stream of success and self satisfaction in your path. i personally live my life to the fullest. At times that does include just a pinch of drama just to test finding out who you truly are. I found that sometimes your world needs to be picked up and shaken sometimes. Sort of the way you might to a pet bug in a jar. Just a little rattle always helps you to evolve one way or the other and you can only hope[or not hope and go] it's in a positive direction for yourself and if not, please my friends pause take a deep breath and go for what you truly feel is right...

... and if you are in a situation where you are being taken advantage of... unless you get off on it [in which case u might need to talk to someone] you should always be real with yourself and respect your being enough to do what's in your best interest... you would think people knew these things, but they don't and that hurts my heart...

last but not least you are never stuck... there is nothing wrong with changing careers more than 50 times throughout life if you feel that is what is right for you. as long as its positive it is always great to evolve and re create yourself into who you are then and now, plus when you are on your deathbed and your resume brings back only amazing memories of fantastic life experiences, then you will most likely die smiling and happy and you wont combust all by yourself with no one around...[that happened to a neighbor of my aunt's recently, very sad]

... and for those who are living their lives this way I hope our life parties meet and mingle... and for those who wish their lives were this way... don't hate. part of the reason my life is so amazing is because i am realistic with myself and all of the great people i know, so when confused haters have the tendency to come and go into my orbit i generally take to writing emo posts on my blog.

I took my first train ride. Yay!!!! You would think at the age I am I have traveled by bus, boat, plane, car, bike, horse and now finally by train. I sat on the train thinking about how far we have come in history as far as transportation is concerned and it blew my mind. i love California scenery so I was entertained the whole time although the whole trip was rather anti- climactic as I arrived at my destination safely and on time: )...

i walked too far and finally arrived... they played... we partied.

I told you to smile when you are feeling down.
However, there are steps you should know.
First you go to the mirror and smile to the mirror in anyway you can.
You probably will not feel any different.
Smile a few times that way.
If that is not enough, smile a few times every morning when you see the mirror.
That won’t do much, either, right?

Because there is a way to smile and change not only your mood, but make your body healthy and young, and change your life for the better!

1) Smile just by twisting the ends of your mouth up. That doesn’t get you anywhere, I bet. But that’s a start.

2) Smile with your eyes and mouth. That’s better. Your smile will make somebody feel good, maybe. Add a little giggle, and they will either think you’re crazy or like you for it.

3) If you really want to smile so it will make yourself feel good as well – you have to smile from your heart and your lungs. Don’t worry, if you are ending the smile with a quiet sound like ummm.

4) The next step will make you feel still better. Smile from your solar plexus. This has an added benefit of making your solar plexus healthier, and active.

5) The next step is to smile right down from your stomach. When you do this, make sure to breathe deeply and pull your stomach muscles in as you smile.

6) The next step – yes, there are more steps! – you should smile from your knees. Again, just pull your knees in – as you pull your stomach in – at the same time you use your lungs, heart and solar plexus. You’ll see that by then, you are smililng with your whole body. You won’t forget to smile with your eyes and mouth at the same time. It will happen anyway. That’s how you will get the true benefit of smiling.

How about giving a smile to others? Should we forget that? Don’t worry. They’ll notice your smile. Only, this time, you’ll feel good, too. Very, very good!

o Damn People!!!! What is the world coming to, it's all topsy turvy. The weather is weird and apparently Elizabeth Taylor outlived Michael Jackson? It's like who saw this coming. I think it might be like Elvis and TuPac where people are constantly having Micahel JAckson sightings. Sad for the youth who will not be able to see the original Moon Walker do his thing. All they will know are Usher and Chris Brown. I am currently in my home with shades drawn and my radio blasting Michael Jackson from past to present. The only explanation I have come up with for his sudden death? He was secretly madly in love with farrah fawcett they were secret soulmates. when he found out about her departure from earth he went into shock and had a heart attack.This theory is probably not true, but it would explain a lot. RIP MJ King of Pop, he's been an inspiration to so many and i am sure the michael jackson biting will continue through time always and forever(and Farrah Fawcett too) and now I am going to go listen to Man in the Mirror and mourn.

I have so many Micahel Jackson memories all the way back to my first memories. At 2 I was singing Billie Jean and watching a MJ biography and had it memorized along with anything Sesame Street. Michael JAckson was more than just a pop star. He was the pop industry with all it's up and downs and arounds all bound up in one creature. he was truly an artist we all love.

Today i have a lot of research going on. I am researching Aids/HIV the effect it's carrying in the black community and also how long is it really going to take legalize marijuana and will it make or break the industry and can the revenue from hemp products, etc maybe save our bad economies? Lots of questions. Wish life was only so easy as walking around shopping with my little dog being hit on by rich men all day long haha. Well well look who we have here. I can't wait until this movie comes out. Being in fashion and with an unconditional love for all flamboyant outrageous gay men I knew before i even peeped the trailer for this movie that I had to see it. Then there was the joke at the MTV Awards featuring Bruno's ass in Eminem's face and that made me excited about seeing this movie... and now I have been looking at the above pictures featured in the June issue of GQ and have decided I should go see this film at the theater to support ticket sales. This decision is a big step for me especially since I hate paying 11 dollars for a movie when I just can have my geek team download it lol. All in all im so excited!!! I love the shots from the GQ issue so much I believe I am going to have to use it as inspiration in a photoshoot or two.
